This event will include a 5k race, a 1 mile “fun run,” a raffle, and other contests! You won’t want to miss it! Our hope is to provide exposure to the Greyhound community, the city of Archer, and all of our event sponsors.
This will be a professionally chip timed event by Milestone Race Authority.
Early entry fees for both races are $25 until midnight Sept 16, 2020
Shirts are GUARANTEED to early entries but not late or race day entries.
Late entry fees for both races are $30 until Friday Sept 25, 2020 at 9 am when online registration closes
Race day entry fees are $35 for both races and MAY NOT include a shirt of your preferred size.
Free race T-shirt (guaranteed if complete registration by Sept 16th, 2020).
Free medal of completion to all finishers.
Free drinks and snacks for all participants and furry friends.
Free raffle ticket to all registrants (winners must be present to collect prizes).
Additional tickets will be available, and donations are appreciated.
Walkers are welcome!
We will be having a "Look Alike" contest for you and your four legged running partner! Get creative! (Please remember this is Florida and it will be hot)
Dog Rules:
-ALL DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH.
-Dogs are allowed to participate in both the 5K and 1 Mile runs.
-Please have a realistic idea of your pets abilities. If they have never ran a 5K before, today is not the day to start.
-If your dog is not the most social or not a fan of big crowds, they will probably want to sit this event out.
-Please do NOT bring female dogs that are currently "In Heat."
-Please pick up after your pets. We know poop happens, but right after it does pick it up.
-If at anytime you are running near a road, please keep your pet on the side of your body furthest from the road to ensure safety.
As a part of the Archer community, we will be adhering to all county emergency guidelines for the safety of all our participants. This means any mask regulations, social distancing practices, etc. will be in place leading up to and on the day of the event. Thank you for your understanding.
